WE’LL NEVER BE THIS YOUNG AGAIN
After so many days, we finally went back to college, carrying the quiet hope that we would meet our friends again, those few familiar, special faces.

“Are you coming?” ( Aaa rhi hona, aa rhe hona, kitne baje miloge, kahan ho abhi, I will reach first, milenge kuch hi der mai bss………………………)
“You are coming, right?”
That cold, breezy morning radiating its calmness; And, then, slowly, the sun rose to its zenith.
At the Botanical, some meetings were preordained, while others happened purely by serendipity; yet each one felt significant in its own way; kuch mulaaqaatein muqarrar thi, aur kuch sirf ittefaq se ho gayin.
With a slight hunger, we ended up sharing just one plate of kachori. It wasn’t exceptional, honestly; but sharing it among the three of us made it strangely fulfilling.
My blue eyeliner, actually, perfectly sleek and slender, shimmering throughout the day; the very sheen of it
Two exams ahead… and endless deliberation in between; whether to attempt the second one or simply bunk it, just to prolong the day a little more. After all, what would we really do by rushing back home early?
And then, even standing outside the exam room, repeatedly saying “hi” to some of my friend, just so they might look up, Lekin fir mil bhi liye kayi dafa, ittefaaq se.
Washroom moments were like:
Pansy carefully applying lip liner on my lips, finishing it with her expensive Kylie lip gloss.
Rose and Pansy curating those dainty, exquisitely beautiful floral bouquets<3
And beyond that… words begin to fall short.
Nantes brought the fav masala-filled bhindi, warmth and warmth <3
Exam, about to start, but we are always late, hahahha XD;
fleeting “Hi”, “Hellos”
At the staircase, Got the most thoughtful and emotionally resonant Ramazan planner,
Une fleur crochetée épanouie 🌸
Petite-cards;
Countless duas and wishes;
A Shadi ka card, of someone very khaas, accompanied by the sweetness of milk cake! sweet little indulgences; pockets of sweetness; tiny edible joys; chocolate-laced moments!!
My bag kept getting heavier ; with happiness.
Ab fir uncle ko toh pehchaan na hi tha hume, bhari bheed mai bhi, tapti garmi mai bhi, Pulaawo ki pateele ke pass , order laga diya unhone khud:)(uncle recognized us instantly.)
Masala-loaded pulaawo followed, along with “Areyy, kya baat hai! bhyii”
Sitting in the corridor, eating till we were full, capturing moments in vlogs, photos, and quiet smiles.
echoing all the way into our professors’ cabins. Today, they seemed to understand us a little better, perhaps even seeing reflections of their own engineering days in us. Khair, bohot baatein hui, bohoton se, bohot mulaaqaatein hui, khaas log mile, dikhe, dosts mile, log mile
So? what was missing,
The Saccha Aam, heavenly sweet, def. next time!
A Short Spell of Rain,
A few more faces,
A few more unexpected encounters,
Aur phir woh do ghante ke exams; perhaps the most strenuous part, when the heart wanted to be anywhere else but there. (lekin atleast, Digital marketing aur ED toh nhi hi likhne ke mnn tha)
More photos, more videos;
A futile attempt to capture moments that were already slipping away.
We will never be this young again.
And just like that, we carried a profoundly a beautiful day back home with us;
Kyunki aaj humara last Pre University Exam thaaa, yaani college mai aakhiri exam:)<3
